Ucluelet is the gateway to Barkley Sound & the Broken Group Islands for excellent sports fishing, scuba-diving, kayaking and off-shore surfing.  Avid surfers come year-round to check the waves between Florencia Bay and Mackenzie Beach - 20 kilometres of coastline.  Nearby Kennedy Lake, the Island's largest freshwater lake, is ideal for picnicking, swimming, boating and fly-fishing.
